This piece is made of plated brass. Each piece is handmade, personalized, and packed with love in our atelier in Amsterdam.
Plated brass: A brass plated jewelry consists of multiple layers. Plated brass jewelry has a brass base (brass). As a base, an undercoat of another metal (Rhodium) is applied. A layer of 14K yellow gold is then applied over this. Due to wear, the underlying metal layers may become exposed.
Material plug + poussette: Gilded silver/Gold plated The base is silver. A layer of 14K yellow gold is then applied over this. Note! This is and remains a layer, this may eventually wear off.
Nacre: mother of pearl, also known as nacre. Mother of pearl is sensitive to acids and can crack or break by hard knocks.

In the unlikely case something else is wrong with the jewelry, we have a warranty period of 6 months for gold-plated jewelry and a year for solid gold jewelry.
