Gold plated brass: A brass plated jewelry piece consists of multiple layers. Plated brass jewelry has a brass base (brass). As a base, an undercoat of another metal (Rhodium) is applied. Over this, a layer of 14K yellow gold is then applied. Due to wear, the underlying metal layers may become exposed.
Material steker + poussette: Gilded silver/Gold plated The base is silver. A layer of 14K yellow gold is then applied over this. Note! This is and remains a layer, this can wear off over time.
